INSOMNIATIC.

The only good that resulted from my bouts of insomnia last month. 5am- at this point wishing that I lived in central for the city night lights.

DRAFT OPENING TO MY FOUNDATION PERSONAL STATEMENT.

From early in our lives we create images and constructions with anything that comes to hand, unconsciously exploring the bounds of space. The desire to challenge the known against the unknown, and to communicate (otherwise ineffable) concepts visually, is something innate in us all; art presents us with limitless opportunity to fulfill these curiosities.

ALL OF THE LIGHTS.

I admit that I have been in a constant lull of Paris withdrawal. Every visit makes me eager to collect as much memorabilia as possible in light of the inevitable missing to come. The architecture, the food, the scenery and of course the coffee in Paris are what capture the idyllic life I wish for in the future perfectly. And one aspect which sets Paris apart from any other European city: the streets; the grand boulevards scoped with huddles of classical street artists and whimsical topiary surrounding the endless "must-see" Baroque structure attractions. The above two photographs are from my trip this Summer, taken on a rainy evening at Concorde, looking down towards the Arc De Triomphe- this being the first time that I tried out light-specific photography (with much difficultly too!)
Be sure to look out for a preview of my underground shots from Paris :-)

SPRINKLED WITH METEORITES.

99p disposable camera- not too shabby really?
(Left: Annie in London before the Resistance 3 launch event, Right: Vault in a Parisian cemetry).
Now that's something you don't see everyday.
That's Kingston for you! Hehe.

KATE MOSS 01 FOR RIMMEL LIPPY.

Good morning! (Let's ignore it being six to twelve midday).
Wore out Kate Moss' recently released lipstick collection for Rimmel London.
Creamy creamy texture and the parfait bluey-red shade. Let downs: the lippy slides off easily and isn't as pigmented as one would desire so several coats are needed.
Wore an outfit i've most definitely out-worn by now. H2T 1. Scallop edged crop top, 2. Leather trousers, 3. Mouse colour wedge boots - all Topshop baby.
Oh and hi there eyebrows!

POSTCARDS FROM PARIS.

Taking an unscheduled hiatus from the blogosphere to resolve some sticky life decisions has gotten the better of me! Alas i'm back with the promise of more updates, and i'll be slowly leaking in the absurd number of photographs which I have accumulated since Fashion Week Season.
Queue postcards from my arty farty weekend away in Paris.
Ooooh 35mm black and white film!
C'est Bon.
